What do I get with my purchase?

We provide the exact digital framework used in our own shop: a proven Vectric VCarve (.CRV) project file (v11.5) with structured layer logic and specific toolpath types. You also receive the design in SVG, AI, and DXF formats, all optimized for clean, artifact-free carving.

Are machining parameters included?

Yes. We provide our "Baseline Inlay Parameters," including the exact feed rate, spindle speed, and plunge rate we use in our shop. Please note that these are tested starting points; you may need to fine-tune them based on your specific CNC setup, bit geometry, and wood species.

What software is required?

Our primary files are created in VCarve Pro (version 11.5). Please ensure your software is up to date. If you use other CAM software (like Fusion 360 or Aspire), you can use the included SVG/DXF files, though you will need to set up your own toolpaths based on our provided specs.

Do you guarantee a perfect result?

While we sell only tested and proven designs, inlay work is a high-precision craft with many nuances. Success depends on your machine's accuracy and your experience level. We provide the blueprint, but the "magic" happens through your careful execution and setup.

Important: Even if you use the exact same bit recommended in the file, a perfect fit is not guaranteed. Factors like spindle runout, machine rigidity, or slight manufacturing variances in the bit itself can affect the final result.

Pro Tip: We strongly recommend performing a test cut on scrap wood first to verify the fit. If the inlay fits perfectly, proceed with your main project. If it's too tight or too loose, simply make a small Inlay adjustment in your software settings before the final carve.

Commercial use policy

When you purchase a file, you are welcome to use it to create physical products for sale. However, the digital files themselves (CRV, SVG, AI, DXF) are for your personal use only and cannot be resold, shared, or redistributed in any digital format.

How often are new designs added?

We are constantly inspired to create! Fresh and unique CNC plans are added to the library periodically. Keep an eye on this space — you never know when the next masterpiece will show up.
