In this tutorial, I’m sharing my own strategy for finding the correct parameters for inlays using the VCarve Toolpath—ideal for older versions of VCarve Pro. This method is based on the Amana Tool 46473 Metric Bit but is also suitable for other router bits, such as 12, 15, 20, and 30-degree bits.
I use metric measurements in my demonstration, but the same principles can be applied to the Imperial system. The key is to understand the underlying concept.
