In this course, we focus exclusively on working with parameters to create perfect inlays using the powerful New Inlay Toolpath, available starting from Vectric 12.
This toolpath is ideal for Face-Grain inlays, making it a preferred choice for achieving precise and seamless results on this type of wood.
You will learn how to:
• Adjust settings to achieve flawless results on both end-grain and face-grain wood.
• Calculate the minimum distance between vectors for various V-bits.
This course is specifically designed to work with the Amana Tool 46473 metric bit and V-shaped bits with angles of 15, 20, and 30 degrees. The strategies taught here ensure excellent results when using these tools, helping you master inlay techniques with confidence.
After completing this course, you’ll stop guessing what values to use for your inlays. You’ll learn a clear algorithm that guarantees a perfect fit for every inlay. All parameters will be correctly set, giving you confidence in your results every step of the way—proven through personal experience.
Important: Before purchasing this course, ensure you have Vectric 12 or higher installed, as the New Inlay Toolpath tool is required.
Please note that this course does not cover board gluing, design creation, or design setup. The focus is entirely on parameters and their correct adjustment.
